Bringing Food Train to England and Wales

Following almost 25 years of successfully supporting older people across Scotland, we have embarked on an ambitious project to make our grocery shopping and delivery service available to older people in England and Wales via a licence agreement.
This exciting opportunity means that we can now share our expertise and support organisations in England and Wales to deliver cost effective and innovative services that enable older people to stay independent for longer.

We currently only offer the grocery shopping delivery service as part of this licence agreement, but work is progressing around incorporating other services, such as Meal Makers, into a more comprehensive package.
Our first licensee, Age UK Lewisham and Southwark, launched their successful Food2You service in 2018 and you can see more about their work at:

If you are interested in exploring new ways to support older people to stay independent and in their own homes and would like to find out more about how we might support you to establish similar services in your area, we would be delighted to hear from you.
