Library at Home
Bringing the library to your door.
About the service
If you enjoy reading or listening to talking books but are unable to access your local library due to poor health, poor mobility, frailty or disability, we can offer you a monthly delivery/uplift service or a one to one match with a local volunteer. All books are selected to your requirements and delivered to you at home.
This service is open to any age group, not just those aged 65 and over, and there is no charge incurred in the delivery and returning of your library books.
Although this is not a befriending service, our friendly volunteers warmly welcome staying for a cuppa and a chat when visiting our members at home.
