How we help

Supporting older people to eat well, age well and live well at home.

Shopping Delivery

Food Train’s shopping delivery service ensures that you have access to fresh and affordable groceries, delivered direct to your home on a weekly basis, or less often if that suits you.

Phone Friends

The Phone Friend service will connect you with a volunteer Phone Friend who will call you for a regular chat.

Meal Makers

Meal Makers is a local, neighbourhood food-sharing project that connects you with people who love cooking and would like to share a freshly prepared meal and a friendly chat.

Library at Home

If you live in West Lothian and enjoy reading or listening to talking books but are unable to access your local library due to poor health, poor mobility, frailty or disability, we can offer you a monthly delivery/uplift service.

Food Train Friends is a befriending service, matching you with a local trained volunteer for more social contact at home or you can join a group outing.

Support at Home

Wouldn’t it be handy if you could get help with odd jobs around the home, those things that have become difficult to do?
