Food Train is an award winning voluntary organisation, providing practical support services to older people across Scotland, helping them to eat well, live well and age well. We have a vacancy for a flexible and enthusiastic, people-focused person to join our Glasgow branch.
We are seeking someone to support our existing team with general administration, (including PC work using Microsoft Excel and Word) and service delivery. The work will be varied with some time spent completing office tasks but may require you at short notice to be actively involved in service delivery alongside our volunteers, which will entail making up grocery orders, driving the van, making deliveries and helping on befriending trips. We are seeking an enthusiastic, ‘people person’ who thrives in a busy work environment and feels empathy and compassion for the challenges that older people face in later life. There are no formal qualifications required for this role.
Closing date for applications: Friday 11th August 2017, 12 noon
Interviews: Monday 21st August 2017 in Glasgow
