The latest news from the Stirling branch of Food Train.
Customer Miss Kippen called to say "Thank goodness we've got them. I'm so grateful to everyone for everything they do. They're so cheery and never a grumble from any of them. I get shopping every week and they empty my box and put some things away in the fridge for me, but then I tell them to leave the rest for me as it gives me something to do. I'm so pleased I've got them"

Food Train were delighted to welcome Dr Richard Simpson MSP at a recent meeting where he found out more about this valuable service in Stirling and surrounding areas. He met staff along with a small group of volunteers and 2 of our customers.. Dr Simpson was interested to hear how the service provided by Food Train volunteers improved the lives of our 2 customers Mrs Margaret Anderson aged 85 and Mrs Margaret Neill aged 62, who has suffered from Multiple Sclerosis since she was 19. Both customers talked highly of the benefits of the service and enthusiastically about our volunteers, who they said were 'just like family'. Dr SImpson went on to commend Food Train in his Stirling Observer column the following week.
