Claudia Beamish MSP hosts Food Train Parliamentary Reception

On Wednesday 21st November, Claudia Beamish MSP welcomed Food Train staff, volunteers and members and invited guests to celebrate 17 years of success and highlight the good work Food Train does across Scotland.  It was a great occasion thoroughly enjoyed by everyone attending.  Scottish Labour Leader Johann Lamont MSP attended and spoke of the importance of services like Food Train helping older people live at home for longer.  Food Train Chairman Dr Rob Wells took the opportunity at the event to announce the location of our next new Food Train in Scotland, which is .......... GLASGOW!

At the event we also launched a new publication - Eat Well, Live Well, Age Welldocumenting our story so far with expert contributions from Dr Elaine Bannerman, Queen Margaret University and Sue Rawcliffe, Community Food & Health Scotland.
