Round Table Stirling and Bridge of Allan supporting their local community

Fran was recently invited along to the Round Table Stirling and Bridge of Allan to talk to members about our service and how it benefits vulnerable older persons in Stirling. We had a lovely surprise when Fraser Ingram popped in to let us know they would be donating £700 towards our fund raising efforts for a new van. We really appreciate the support and are grateful that local groups such as the Round Table,  support us in helping prevent malnutrion and social isolation in vulnerable older persons. Fraser also mentioned they are looking for new members to keep up the good work, so if any one is interested please have a look at their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/stirlingboaroundtable/. Thank you to all members involved in this very generous donation.

Shopping in the rain in Ayr with Friends

Here are a couple of our newest Upper Nithsdale based members (left pic) enjoying shopping in the rain in Ayr in a typical Scottish Summer in late June...but they loved having the opportunity to go out with others and to shop safely with transport provided. Also on the trip were Jean and Agnes (right pic) from Sanquhar pictured with our volunteer Catherine coming out of a shop smiling, despite the rain! Call us for more info on 01387 279111
